"We had a great time at Jots. This isn’t fancy but laidback and an absolutely beautiful view of the river. We didn’t have a boat, just found ourselves in the area for a few days and needed a room. We enjoyed walking the dock and the view it gave us. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area."

"Ben greeted us on arrival. Very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had all we needed The upstairs room was noisy and disturbed us until they settled. No carpeting to soften the noise. There were no opening windows so needed to have the door open to get fresh air. The breakfast was basic but adequate. However, there was not enough space for all guests to be seated. Overall a good stay."

"I’ve stayed here several times. The motel is very outdated and some items appeared to be broken such as the hairdryer. I would also have liked to have a “do not disturb” sign for the door, but other than that I enjoyed my stay. I love that it’s affordable and faces the ocean within steps to the beach. I love Rockaway and will always come back. When looking up the motel, I did see they’re doing renovations. I can’t wait to come back after the renovations have been completed for an even more comfortable experience! The staff is always accommodating. I went to the lobby looking for some tea and they had tea and coffee for guests. There is also a pool, but I have never used it so I can’t comment on that. Keep up the great work! :)"
