There are many restaurants and the food carts are really good. There are a lots of hiking areas within and outside the city. There are also an abundance of coffee shops in the city. The only problem is that the restaurants open late and close early.

Portland was a great city to visit! We loved that we could walk to most places or take the train for $6 a person for the whole day and it went just about everywhere you would want to go. Felt very safe walking/ taking the train. Great food options!

We had fun walking around and at happy hour at the Portland city grill with good food and excellent views. Voodoo donuts are so excellent that they were good the next day. Spanish coffee at Huber's was excellent! Kelly's Olympian is a good bar!

Great city with loads of activities for families, couples, or solo visitors. DO NOT believe conservative "news" sources that claim the city is full of homeless junkies and daily riots! However, PDX parking laws are terrible so take mass transit!

Portland has gotten a bad rap in the media, and while there are issues of homelessness, it's not different from any other city of its size. Portland has a great restaurant and entertainment scene, and plenty of unique shops to explore.

We visited the Exquisite Creatures Revealed exhibit at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. It was AMAZING! We also played a MindTrix escape room at the Clackamas Town Center and it was really fun. I highly recommend both!

This area in downtown was great and felt safer than what I was expecting. Lots of security witnessed all around. Lots of places to go eat, get coffee, see music and go shopping. For NYE, the streets were decorated and festive.

It was my first time seeing Portland and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the city. There's something for everyone and it's very easy to get around. The public transit is pretty reliable and walking wasn't too bad either.

Portland might have lost some of its luster, but it's still a lively, fascinating city with great independent stores and wonderful restaurants. We visit 2-3 times every year. Always something new to discover.

"Free shuttle 24 hours was nice cause I had to leave at 430am. They allowed me to check in a few hours early for no extra fee 🙂 staff was very professional and polite. Rooms were very clean. The room was a bit dated and also noisey at times but for what I paid, convenience to the airport, and great staff I would stay there again.Gaea and Amber were great. I didnt drive but there is a fee for parking and have to go thru a gate. The staff did validate it tho for my uber eats and uber driver so that was good too."
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lucia. The staff was friendly from the doormen to the reception staff to Willy the manager. They made us feel welcomed from the time the arrived till we checked out. The tea and coffee bar in the morning was very nice. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks. We felt like it was safe and a convenient area. "
