"It was fine"

"The hotel is gorgeous,BUT I’m not sure who is helping them with design? The lighting in this place is awful. It’s white fluorescent lights. Here’s this beautiful lobby that could make you feel like a star in the twenties, instead you look like a pasty faced troll and the urge to leave is strong. WARM LIGHTS, would make this hotel first class. Even the lighting in their ball room is atrocious. A bride would look sickly under those lights. Too bad, as it’s gorgeous. Put warm lights in the chandeliers and keep the surrounding lights white. This really takes the hotel down a star. Service is amazing. The rooms are clean and mine was large for the price. Unfortunately, the beds are hard as rocks. I found myself having to take ibuprofen after my second day. Others complained about this to me as well. I left my 3 day stay very sore. "

"This is the second time we've stayed here...for a reason. Not only is it one of the most quirky, yet somehow elegant and refined, properties we've ever been in, but the staff are super friendly and helpful, they have a system dialed in that doesn't seem to skip a beat. I do wish there were coffeemakers in the rooms (you can get one by request) as I'm a frazzled useless lump of dump before my caffeine fix and wouldn't want to have to subject myself to any humanoids before it, but, well, luckily I have a wife who's a morning person and was happy to hop and skip her way to the coffee-station for me. The property itself is gorgeous, the rooms are very unique and comfortable, and the location can't really be beat for a downtown spot to stay. We will be back..."

"The outlets were in the wrong locations, and not enough of them, a lamp didn’t work and was unstable, the microwave was old as hell, most of the buttons on the remote didn’t work so I had to use the tv itself, the mattress was way too soft, low water pressure in the bathroom, the breakfast was a joke, the front desk staff didn’t know anything. The elevator was old as hell and small and very worn. The whole hotel needs to be remodeled and the walls are thin"
