"I enjoyed how big and clean the room was. I did have to get someone to help engage the lock on the door to the adjoining room. The walls/ceiling felt thin as I could hear the children running/talking in the halls and the people above my room having a soccer tournament (I’m exaggerating but did use the ironing board at one point to tap on the ceiling to have them calm down). The shower was very nice and ran heavy like a waterfall - no saving water there, and it felt so good. It did feel safe and was a good location to gas and grocery shopping. The person at the front desk was very welcoming. Overall, I wouldn’t not recommend this place."

"So the outside makes you wonder what's inside. Surprise, the inside is much better looking than the outside exudes. The coffee inthe breakfast room, which is available all day until 9pm was absolutely horrid. Do not even try it to see if its better. Now I have a sensitive nose and the room we received smelled like they were trying to cover the smell of cigars or the like with some spray. I had the door open to the hall for over 4 hours to help dissipate the smell. It helped but was noticeable again after going out into the hall and coming back in. Also the wood-look blinds in the room did not block out all the light coming from the blinding spot light from outside. I had to use a towel to block out enough so that I could sleep. Lastly, the free breakfast in the morning was not on par with any other small hotel I've been to. It had these eggs in a package that you were supposed to heat in the microwave for 3 minutes then again for another 2 minutes. That was a joke in itself, the eggs were burnt after the first 3 minutes. Park in the back as the front is too tight to pull into a space unless you have a short car/suv. So great place to stay to sleep, room was clean mostly, but avoid the breakfast and especially the coffee."

"The kitchenette room at the Silver Sands Motel we stayed in was clean and well-stocked. Two picture windows- one that overlooked the ocean and one that overlooked the mountains. The views left us little time to look at the amenities :) There are also nice shops and restaurants near by, which were fun to explore. we took the Oregon Scenic train ride. you can also see the train just by stepping outside the room. We loved it and hope to be back."
