Quaint, quiet, no frills stay. Very clean, very comfortable bed, a short walk to the beautiful beach and to the heart of town. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Great views and helpful service. Their strict rule against cooking seafood is kind of a drag and sometimes we don't stay here for that reason

No air conditioning and the pillows were huge and hurt my neck. However, the hotel manager was so accommodating, even brought us a wine bottle opener and wine glasses when we mentioned we bought a bottle of wine. The facilities were very clean, the location was ideal (right on the ocean) for traveling up and down the Oregon coast!, and the flowers out front were breath taking!! I would highly recommend it!

The room had a great view out to the beach with a couple outdoor chairs. Very quiet. Did not hear any of our neighbors and the hotel appeared to be full. Wish the fireplace had been working.

The whole experience was awesome. The room was very nice and big. They had all the amenities you could want. Like a little mini kitchen , microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, and everything you needed to cook with.. the balcony was great stairs led down to the beach. Will definitely be going back there again. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience definitely 10 out of 10.👍

The location is superb. The cost for the ocean view is worth it every time! Parking is easy and secure. We love staying at The Tradewinds. When Neal (the owner) has his flower baskets up, there is no prettier location between Canon Beach and Newport.

The man at the desk was very friendly and we had a nice discussion about the weather comparison between Oregon and our home state. Our room was right on the beach; we had a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was clean and water pressure was great from a double shower head! Parking was close and we felt very safe.

The entire stay was very nice. Parking was convenient. Registering was a breeze with staff very pleasant. Room was clean with a view to die for. Some things in the room needed upgrading ( paint was chipping in some areas and toilets need to be upped to 17-19 inches) but overall…….9/10!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at the Tradewinds Motel in Rockaway Beach! If you are looking for fancy and exclusive...look elsewhere. If you are looking for an incredible location (steps from the beach), clean rooms and linens, handy room amenities such as a stove/oven, microwave and mini-fridge, knowledgeable and friendly staff (Front Desk especially) AND won't break the budget..... Tradewinds Motel is for you! We will definately be back! Thanks for the great get-away!
