"The room was bright and roomy with a funky charm. Since it was a pet-friendly room I wasn't alarmed to see a few carpet stains, but we did not want to be barefoot. I might have missed reading it somewhere, but it wasn't clear to me that there was coffee service in the check-in building in the mornings. I would book with them again."

"The location is great. It is in front of a public access and can get a lot of cars. There is a driveway, but hard to fit two cars if cars are parked on both sides of the property. Two of the lightbulbs inside were not working in the kitchen and living room. Plenty of towels and clean except around the lights. The front room can get really hot if it is sunny, specifically the front bedroom. They do have fans provided. The kitchen had everything for basic cooking with a cozy breakfast nook."

"Stayed for just one night but found the apartment to be clean and well equipped. Host has thorough documentation on all aspects of the stay and signage to differentiate the rental unit from the other apartments on the property. Know that you will need to walk up a flight of stairs but it’s well lit. Overall the location was good and the views of the coast were beautiful."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my childhood best friend's and my third stay, and we love it! It is close to the Ecola Park entrance, Chapman beach (our evening beach fire / marshmallow roasting spot), and an easy walk into town. Elk even had a snack in the fenced backyard during our recent visit. The minute we arrived, our dogs' tails wagged nonstop! We appreciate the friendly and helpful rental staff, too. Calipso Cottage has everything you need for a perfectly relaxing Cannon Beach vacay! We will see you next year!"

"Awesome location and great views from the house. This cute little A-Frame sits right where Ecola Creek meets the Ocean and you can see Haystack rocks from the sand. The house is in the heart of the shops and restaurants area which makes everything walkable, even for my toddler! The owner really maximized the space in the home and provided so many nice touches (sand toys, board games, books, tons of towels etc.) there was tons of wildlife: a herd of elk with babies, flocks of pelicans, etc. I highly recommend checking out this property!"
