「Beautiful and well maintained and close to shipping and food」

「Breakfast was reasonable. We had issue with our room and the staff helpfully moved us to another room. Would stay again」

「Here’s what we liked: If we were just reviewing BERKSHIRES UNTOLD based on the staff, we’d be giving it a 5. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and gracious. When we asked for extra towels and requested a room change, they accommodated those requests immediately. After we switched rooms they checked to see if we were happier. This is exactly the kind of service you want in a hotel or inn. Other good things - The bed was comfortable and there was enough counter space in the bathroom...

「I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All my questions were answered very pleasantly. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet place to stay. It was easy to get to and very convienent being in the middle of Great Barrington. The breakfast was nice also. I would stay there again.」

「It is set off the road in the woods. Beautiful grounds with places to sit outside and relax. The rooms are big , clean, have full kitchens, and comfy beds. The magic coffee machine in the lobby makes great coffee for free and is always open to use. The pool is large and great and the outdoor hot tub was great too. The folks at the desk are fantastic! Not one thing to not like!」

「I spilled an ENTIRE cup of cocoa I was making for my niece. The clerk on was a very kind, friendly young man named Paul. I have worked as a chef for 30 years, the cocoa went EVERYWHERE. He got a mop bucket , I started cleaning my mess up I just know what its like to walk into a mess!! Left by someone else. Paul said "you dont have to finish, ill do it no problem. He was a VERY kind young man. And he was helpful & he cleaned up the rest of the spill. I think your LUCKY to have such kind...

「The host was on site when we arrived and greeted us graciously and efficiently. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautifully renovated bathroom (Room 5). The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but comfortable. There was no place to hang clothes, but there was plenty of drawer space in the bureau and bed stands. The reservation portal indicates the room has a hair dryer and a microwave oven, but it does not. They are still in renovation mode, so the outer appearance of the property still...

「This hotel looks like you stepped into 1980. The front door had a gap that let in light and cold air. The wallpaper was peeling. There were scuff marks on the walls and door. The bathroom fixture was open and you could see exposed wiring. Some outlet plates were also open. The one lamp had non working electrical outlets. The room smelled musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower had reasonable pressure.」

「Very quiet setting with the ski mountain in view from the room. The heated pool was very nice.」

「We had a late arrival, which worked out with self checkout. Left the next morning after 9am, didn't see a single staff member during our whole stay, Was a bit of a challenge getting luggage up to the top floor without an elevator but we probably should have realized that when we booked. Nice property, nice big room with separate area for visiting. TV channel choices, which included streaming services, was excellent. Overall a good experience, just didn't see anyone there.」
