"Our stay at the Publick House was Amazing! We stayed in Room 509, in the building to the Left of the Main Building. The room was super clean and the building was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We ate at the Main Restaurant and that was scrumptious! We did have 1 issue with the thermostat in that it was very hot in the room And we couldn't get the thermostat lower than 69. We were told to put it on air conditioning and that it would go down from there but it still didn't decrease. I ended up shutting it off and it was fine all night. I'm sure that will get fixed before the next guest. :) Beautiful place! We hope to be back! "

"We were searching for a dog friendly rental in close proximity to our daughter and other family to spend some time visiting prior to the holiday. This little cottage was the perfect space for us. We appreciated the subtle holiday decorations that made us feel a little more at home and thoroughly enjoyed the brownies the hostess left to welcome us."
