「We did not appreciate the constant loud music outside our room during the day.
Even going to tho edge of property did not give us any peaceful quiet afternoons on the beach.
Guess this is just not our type of resort.

「Beautiful resort! But… it needs much improvement. If your (African American) this property will not cater to you at all. I had to call on many different occasions to clean the room or ask for towels. Some staff were semi aggressive from asking basic things. Having traveled to other countries, we’d expect vacation service, not al la carte service as everyone expected a tip for basic things. Don’t think I would take my family here again. It’s also very far from the airport. 」

「I’ve stayed at a RIU in Montego Bay before, so I knew paying more usually means a nicer, more “luxury” experience. That wasn’t really the case here. Palace Tropical Bay didn’t feel like an upgrade, and honestly we could’ve just stayed at Riu Negril and been just as happy, if not happier. When we went there for the White Party, it looked just as nice.
The swim-up bar pool was also an issue—the filter seemed off because there was always debris floating around, which wasn’t great.

「From check in to check out everything went smoothly. Staff at check in and the restaraunt was very friend and extremely professional. Shanoy at the restaraunt exceptionally accomodating by dropping off a breakfast menu to our room because we couldnt down liaf the app. Property is clean, well maintained and beautiful. Spectacular views from this hotel that captures an amazing sunset

「Beautiful property on the West End. We have stayed in Negril many times and this is by far one of the best resorts we have stayed. The location is perfect. The staff is incredible and Paul, the lifeguard, is a dear friend we met a few years ago. The Lodge food is amazing. And the 3 dogs there are sweethearts. Just a great laid back vibe you would expect in Negril.」
