The property is beautiful, the staff are very friendly.
We did not have access to any wifi in our room as claimed, and the phone in our room was not connected to anything. We asked the staff about it, they told us they'd send maintenance, we never heard back, on the final day they apologized for the "very minor inconvenience" that ultimately cost me about $200cad we probably could have put towards a better maintained property. No phone in the room is a bit of a issue if you'd like to use room service, in addition the cleaning staff had taken out umbrella for some reason, and we had to wait out a crazy rain storm to get to dinner without getting soaked, and were unable to do anything about it as we had no wifi/no phone in our room.
The daily buffets were great, however I can't say the same for the fancier meals we had to make reservations for, serving sizes were extremely small, and had to wait over a hour to be served our meals. We ended up canceling our second reservation as we weren't willing to wait a hour to be served literally one shrimp, and two small pieces of calamari. (Although that single shrimp was tasty)
The "safe" driver the hotel offered to get to a nearby ATM, made us feel extremely unsafe, we would have rather walked, rather than being trapped in his cab. (License plate PG4000)
