This all-inclusive resort left no stone unturned for me and my family. We traveled with 2 adults and 2 kids, we felt safe, and the amenities were great. So many options for food and entertainment. Room service and resort staff were exceptional. We will definitely book this resort again.

We had a very nice time at the Princess Grand Jamaica. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly. They had an excellent waterpark for the kids and decent pools The beach is man-made so it's not as nice as some of the beaches in Jamaica but nice enough. We opted for the swim out in our junior suite which was great because we used that quite a bit.. The buffet for breakaway and lunch was great. Lots of variety plus lots of stations... like crêpes, omelettes, burgers, quesadillas, wraps, steak... plus fresh fruit. The only negative I would say is the way they handle dinner. You cannot make a reservation. They have four restaurants aside from the buffet and the sports bar… do not eat in the sports bar. The food was absolutely atrocious. I ordered chicken burger on our fist night ans we anrrived late and had nowhere else to go and the description was nothing like what came to me. It was a tiny bit of dark meat, deep fried with a flab of lettuce and mayo. The description said chicken burger with caramelized, onions, lettuce, tomato, and all this other stuff that never appeared. Not being able to make a reservation at the restaurant meant that if you arrived anytime after 5:30 when they opened, you were waiting 2 to 2 1/2 hours for your table. We just started going at 5 and standing in line till 530 to get seated right away and had really early dinners. Not ideal but better than waiting two hours for your table especially with young kids.

Here’s a polished review that still sounds like you: ⸻ The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. The overall aesthetic and rooms were great, and you can tell it’s a newer property. The staff was friendly and kind, but unfortunately service was very slow across the board, which really impacted the experience. It felt like the hotel was understaffed during our stay. One of the biggest frustrations was the dining situation. The restaurants do not take reservations and operate on a first come, first serve basis. We ended up waiting 2 hours for dinner with small children, which was honestly unacceptable. By the time we were finally seated at 8pm, my son had already fallen asleep. There were also some operational issues. One morning, there were no towels available anywhere until around 12pm, which was very inconvenient. At the beach, there weren’t enough umbrellas set up, and while a staff member and the lifeguard were helpful in finding one from storage, it’s not something guests should have to figure out themselves. Overall, while the property itself is beautiful, the lack of organization and staffing made the experience frustrating. With better management and adequate staffing, this could be a great stay—but as of now, it fell short.

PRINCESS GRAND JAMAICA – NOT READY FOR GUESTS We expected a polished experience, but this resort feels like an extended soft opening with significant operational issues. Room service is not included and costs $15 per order, which is not clearly communicated. Dining is a major problem. There are no reservations, and if you arrive after 5:45 pm, waits can reach 2–3 hours. You need to line up before 5:30 pm just to eat at a reasonable time. Despite advertising multiple restaurants, access is very limited. Families realistically only have access to 4 restaurants plus the sports bar. Others require no kids and an extra ~$30 per person. Food quality is poor. The buffet was often the best option. The Italian restaurant was acceptable, but most others were disappointing. Food labeling was unreliable, and allergy awareness was inconsistent, which is concerning. Service overall feels understaffed. Pool service is minimal, food wait times can be 50 minutes, and housekeeping was inconsistent, including lack of towels. Pools were sometimes cloudy, and there were safety issues with unsecured umbrellas. Many positive reviews seem to come from guests on the Senses side or with Platinum upgrades, which offer a different experience. That upgrade may be worth considering. Positives: rooms are new and clean, the coffee shop is excellent, and the entertainment team stands out. Bottom line: there is potential, but in its current state I would strongly recommend waiting before booking.

I took my wife to the princess grand hotel and resort for our 10 year anniversary. And I can say from the moment we got there everything was perfect. The host that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The assistant manager Ingrid Walker was the best. She helped me make every plan I had not only possible but special. I can’t thank Mrs Walker and Oron the guest service representative enough. Overall the Princess Grand was great!!! We will definitely stay there again whenever we return.

Facilities were amazing. The service was one star! If you want missing towels in your room or no beach towels available or ordering a Coke and waiting an hour for it. This is the place to go.

Resort is beautiful and the staff knows how to do hospitality really well. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. Food was great and we loved our room. Other guests can be loud at night and we ended up changing rooms due to our noisy neighbors. No fault of the resort. They easily accommodated our request to do so. I recommend putting a rolled up towel in front of the entry door when sleeping if you’re a light sleeper to cut down on noise from the hallway and loud guests. The floor is tile and the sound comes under the gap in between the floor and door. Overall we would definitely stay here again and felt safe having our family there. Great job Princess Grand team!

I recently stayed at the Princess Grand Resort and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, there was a very strong sewage odor in our room and throughout several areas of the resort. The smell was overwhelming and made it difficult to feel comfortable during our stay. The toilet in our room was also constantly clogging after almost every use, which was very inconvenient and clearly shows there are maintenance issues that need attention. On top of that, the fire alarm would go off every time we took a shower. Security had to come knocking on our door each time to check why the alarm was triggered, which happened repeatedly and disrupted our stay. What made things even more concerning was that many of the staff members themselves were openly complaining about the sewage issues and the difficult working conditions at the resort. Hearing this from employees made it clear that these problems are ongoing and not just a one-time issue. Overall, the resort looks nice in photos, but the serious maintenance and sanitation problems made the stay very unpleasant. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this resort based on our experience.

Beautiful hotel. The beach has a lot of small rocks making it hard to get into the ocean. Need more chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Food was good at the food market. Plenty of options. Staff was amazing and welcoming

We spent 4 nights here recently at the Grand on the family side. The staff wère amazing! the food was quite good. The favorite was the food truck (curry chicken patties were the fan fave) and the Jamrock Restaurant but the buffet pretty good too. The hotel has a ton going on and entertainment was not short. Our kids had a ball spending hours swimming and using the waterslides daily we loved the nightly shows, the entertainment was high in quality! Overall it was a wonderful time with the family. Now there were a few inconsistencies we noticed: Our mini bar was not restocked two nights in a row, the snacks were restocked once. We had booked two rooms and asked a few times for them to be at least close together if not side by side and while they did say they would try to accommodate us the followimg day, it fell through and the other room ended up on another floor and quite a distance away. This part made no sense to me. Especially since we asked specifically to be close together. While disappointing we worked with it and still had a good time. The beach was rocky, consistent with most of the reviews but the views were stunning from every single angle. We would certainly go back.

Excellent place for families and couples. My wife and I spent 9 days here and didn’t even feel the need to leave the resort. So peaceful and serine. We enjoyed the food mostly, MVP sports bar was below average. But all the other restaurants were fantastic and FOOD TRUCKS! The beach, the sun, the spa, the gym….. what else could you need!

The staff is extremely friendly and the food is good considering it’s an all-inclusive resort. We stayed at a swim out junior suit and it was spacious. The hotel has two big pools and a small beach area. It is far from the airport, about 1.5 hours.
