"The staff at the Coast Bastion Hotel was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We received excellent service here. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The room included air conditioning and we were able to adjust heating to a comfortable level. The view of the inner harbour was wonderful. There is a local mall, theatre, and restaurants, with some local retail/gift shops. Breakfast was not included but there is a very good restaurant on site. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the bedding good quality. With this location and price point, obviously it's not the Hilton. But it's a solid, family run business that offers a good place to sleep. Parking is in a u shape around the front of the hotel. Our room was in the back, so there was a bit of a hike to move stuff into and out of the room. If you're on the upper floor as far as I can tell there's no alternative to taking things up and down the uncovered outdoor stairs, so be prepared for that. If you have mobility issues I would request a first floor room. The front rooms on the first floor are the most convenient, but also the most exposed to traffic noise. Figure out your priority, and make your requests accordingly."

"The hotel was not cleaned. I was surprised when I opened the toilet there were drops there and not from mine and I has to clean it by myself Also there were little hairs on the towel in the washroom. It was gross i didn't use the towel at all. I am disappointed for the experience at there."

"The place was dirty, the people staying next door were up screaming and slamming furniture against the wall and going in and out of the room and building every 20 mins. The traffic kept us up all night, there is no staff on site to help with anything and the room smelled like dog a cigarettes. It sounded like a brothel all night and I unfortunately was there with my children. "

"My husband ordered breakfast and brought it to the room for me. I really enjoyed breakfast in bed relaxing."
