「We had a wonderful stay in the family suite at Misty Meadows. The room was clean and a lovely space to be in. The location worked well for us, a 30 minute drive to downtown Victoria if not travelling in rush hour, and it was nice to stay somewhere beautiful and quiet. Errol and Cathy were friendly and attentive but gave us plenty of space, and Cathy made us an excellent breakfast, also going to the trouble of preparing a packed breakfast when we had to leave very early on our last morning. 「Beautiful view of Silva Bay. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious -- particularly enjoyed the Nespresso coffee, homemade granola and blueberry muffins, along with the yogurts and other breakfast items. When a power failure knocked out power to half the island, Dave and Melanie set up lights, fired up their generator in the morning, and kept us informed throughout the outage. We would definitely stay here again! 」

「Lovely location, easy walking to the marina, shops and restaurants. The property is tucked off the road so is quite quiet! The accommodation is cozy and quaint and was just as described - perfect for curling up on the loveseat (or recliner) reading a novel and enjoying the view! It has a lovely little fireplace heater for ambiance, too! (It was rainy and chilly for part of our trip so this was a bonus!)
