"Excellent aparthotel. Everything you need is there. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment which actually has a laundry room, wardrobe room, kitchen with dining area and a living room with dining area. Everything is extremely clean and in mint condition. Our host was most helpful checking us in early and booking cabs during our stay. Location is excellent for walking downtown to the waterfront. Probably one of the flattest parts of old town for ease of walking. Grocery store less than 5 minute walk. Could not be happier with our stay. Thanks so much. Peter & Theresa NB, Canada"

"From the first reception to check out, what a pleasant experience. The staff is very, very professional and friendly and helpful. They all speak English. The room was spacious and immaculate and very welcoming. Special snacks and Port wine were left for us every day in our room. Restaurant very very good. Wine class very informative and tasty. "Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean. They had free water for guest. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. One of the better hotels I have stayed at in awhile. It was also well located near the train station, numerous resteraunts and had a great area for Uber to pick up right in front. Perfect stay"

"Maybe it was just where my room was located but every morning the housekeepers would start at 8am making a lot of noise. I travel a lot and have stayed in a number of hotels and I’ve never experienced this before. I think it’s because my room was right next to their closet but it was truly unbearable. Also the walls are very thin. There’s a constant slamming of doors, stomping up the stairs, and people just overall being loud and inconsiderate. That’s just the vibe of the hotel. Probably because it's centrally located. TBH the noise outside didn’t bother me at all. It was solely the noise inside the hotel. "

"Hotel has an excellent location; close to all the places you would want to see in addition to major public transportation. It is safe around the hotel. My room was clean, decorated with taste, but small with no balcony. There was no comfortable chair to sit or a desk to work. It was nice that I could open the window for fresh air but it was facing other buildings and I sometimes felt claustrophobic. Everytime the bathroom light was turned on the fan also started working and did not stop when the light was turned off. I did not like that noise. Bed was not the most comfortable one, but bed sheets had nice quality. The elevator stopped between floors, not the exact floor. So I had to either climb up or down to go to my room. It was not a big deal, but if you have a mobility issue you need to be aware."
