Everything was great. There are many stairs to the room, but staff carried our bags up 5 flights (and down at the end of our stay) so the stairs didn’t bother us. The room was bigger than I’d expected, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. Location was also excellent with easy walking access to everything and transit nearby. I would stay here again anytime. There was a bowl of apples in the lobby too, which made a great snack to grab on the way out the door.

The staff was awesome! They were very helpful and friendly and attended to issues we had in a very timely manner. Our room was always cleaned every day. Although the property had wifi issues during our stay, they dealt with the problem as well as they could. They are centrally located to just about everything…restaurants, shops, landmarks. If I have a negative comment, it would be the flight of stairs we had to take after a day of exploring the city. They have no elevators.

We had an amazing stay at Chiado 44. The location was incredible and walking distance to everything but also a quiet side street. The staff were welcoming and kind. Be aware there is no lift. We were on the 4th floor which is actually 6 flights up. The room was small but typical for European hotels. The bathroom is large but a slanted roof making a bit tight on useable space but it was no issue for us. The room was simple but clean and had an amazing view of the city and the water. The front desk staff were helpful with recommendations. The breakfast was delicious!! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at Chiado 44 was outstanding. We especially liked Isabella. She was always ready with a smile and lots of suggestions for things in the area. The hotel is located walking distance to so much! The rooms were clean and very nice and I loved the little sitting area with doors that opened to the outside!

Towel hooks in bathroom dont work. There is a ladder for towels. They have ice but not always available. There are 103 steps to the rooms in the 4th floor. Doesn’t seem to be staff to help with luggage up to the room. Staff is friendly. Good location.
