"On the first day, I was a little worried about the location, that it would be tough to walk late at night from downtown, even though it is not that far but a little sketchy area. However, it worked out very well. UberX was only 4 euros and every day we were walking down to the city center or Alfama areas and then taking Uber back to the hotel. Hotel was I think the best we've stayed at, even better than Las Vegas hotels. Spotless and very modern, comfy beds, comforters. Buffet breaskfast was also very good with variety. Service was also very unique, not your typical front desk, but you're greeted by a person and make seated for check in and the person takes you up to the room, explaining how everything works, etc --a service we never had anywhere else. I would definitely recommend Dos Rios. Staying in the heart of the city could have been nice but prices are very steep, not even comparable."

It is beautiful, a palace after all, the rooms are spotless and we feel that the bathroom is the best you can find, being attractive, functional and very spacious. The breakfast is excellent and we have dined at the restaurant which was a first-class experience. The staff are very friendly and professional, The location is unbeatable, close to everything, we rate this hotel 10/10 "
