Nice hotel! Seems to be recently renovated. Modern decor style, elevator, communal lounge on main floor. Staff was helpful, air conditioner kept it cool. One thing to note is the hotel is next door to an immigration centre so there’s always a crowd of random people. I didn’t always feel safe coming in and out, people staring, always have to ask people to move, they hover around the door and chat with you. I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I was alone.

O recepcionista que nos atendeu foi prestativo, atencioso e solicito. O quarto era confortável, silencioso com bons travesseiros e colchão macio. Banheiro vazava um pouco de agua do box. Mas tudo estava limpinho.

Una habitación muy tranquila para descansar limpia cómoda con los servicios en excelente condiciones, el trato del personal fue muy excelente y amable además de que dejaron cuidar las maletas porque llegamos temprano para el cheque y también como salía el vuelo tarde nos dejaron también en resguardo las maletas hasta la hora muy tarde lo recomiendo

Foi tudo ótimo! É assim: esse é um hotel alternativo e do outro lado da rua do seu irmão (Lisbon City), por isso o check-in e check-out devem ser feitos no hotel da frente, pois este hotel não tem recepção. Achei ótimo, porque fica bastante privativo e com pouca circulação de pessoas. O hotel foi recém-reformado e possui tudo novinho. O quarto triplo que fiquei possui dois ambientes - duas camas em um e uma cama em outro, o que melhora a experiência também. Localização boa, a 200 metros do metrô e também próximo do centro histórico (20/30 minutos a pé). Tem bastante movimento nos arredores, pois fica próximo à agência de imigração, mas não achei problema algum. A experiência foi muito boa, tranquila e em paz. Por isso, recomendo bastante para viajantes tranquilos. Não é luxuoso, mas é limpinho, novo, com funcionários muito prestativos e profissionais. Recomendo 100%.

The best aspect of this hotel was the staff at the hotel desk. They were fantastic!! They were welcoming, friendly and readily assisted with providing guidance with navigation. The actual room was not in the hotel - it was adjacent to the hotel, which was a bit of a surprise, and left us feeling a bit less secure. The room was quite nice - it was clean, and had a private balcony, which we loved. But the shower leaked, so the floor was always wet. And there was a broken floor area just outside of the bathroom, which we kept stepping in, which was quite uncomfortable. The only amenity was a bottle of water, but we did appreciate that. One major negative was on our final night's stay, we had just returned from dinner and shopping, and while beginning to pack, were laughing together over events of the day. This was for a few minutes only. Shortly afterward, someone knocked on our door - this was at 11pm. When asked who it was, they said they were from the hotel. When asked what they needed, they said someone reported we were being loud, and this was not permitted. Really? We had only laughed briefly. And why would they come to our room this late, rather than phone us? This was quite disturbing!

The staff were lovely and really helpful, but the room was a bit tired (suitcase marks all over the walls, sheets weren't particularly clean). There was also no hairdryer in the room (had to request it) and no tea or coffee facilities, with no glasses for water.

Black mold, stay away!

Obvious black mold in the bathroom. The floors in the room had some sort of cheap flooring put over a subfloor that was failing, walking on it was spongy. The furniture was old and kind of crumbly.

Room that we booked isnt as shown in expedia at all, it is WAY smaller. We barely have enough room to walk around and place our toiletries. Room also has a bad odour from sink, dusty floor, shower leaks out from base, towels are stained. Our room is at the main floor first room, we hear EVERYTHING and it is very annoying at late night and early morning. But all the staffs are just awesome and very helpful.

Nightmare Avoid

We've booked the family room. The room was super dirty and smelly in the basement. There were no windows and the only door to get inside was facing the street, not really safe. We couldn't stay due to the strong smell of mold and sewage. They didn't give us a better room or our money back. A total scam. Avoid at any cost.

The layout of the room I was assigned left me with not enough room for my luggage to unpack. The bathroom sink faucet made it difficult to brush your teeth especially without a glass or a cup for the water. Also, I asked one of the receptionist for assistance— where to eat or the like; he couldn’t suggest specifics and just told me to walk on the main street and find one.

Good location and potential — but not yet up to standard. Lisbon City Inn enjoys a convenient location near the city center, with polite staff and visible investment in upgrades. However, the renovation feels unfinished, and several quality issues hold it back from delivering the experience it aims for. Our room showed promise but suffered from a few serious flaws: – Excessive LED and fluorescent lights at night make the room almost as bright as a runway, even with blackout curtains. – The bathroom design is impractical — outward-opening shower doors flood the floor, the sink shelf is unstable, the showerhead is cracked, and the sliding toilet door doesn’t close, compromising privacy. – The elevator is still being installed, so navigating the narrow staircase with luggage is a challenge. The room itself is compact yet functional. The property sits beside local social support facilities, which slightly influence the area’s atmosphere, though we personally encountered no problems. Overall, the team is courteous and the hotel shows potential — but stronger quality control and completion of the refurbishment are still needed to match its ambition.
