We loved the hotel. Despite arriving early, Ana allowed an early check in. She was lovely and very helpful with questions. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean and quiet. We loved the neighborhood: not in a tourist zone but rather a local vibe. Walk to the nearby park for quiosque vibes!

This was our second time visiting Portugal, and once again, we chose to stay at Hotel Luena. The hotel is very well located. Even though it’s outside the busiest tourist area, it’s still very convenient for getting around Lisbon. We traveled as a family with our two children, ages 3 and 4, and once again had a great experience. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is amazing — always friendly, helpful, and quick to assist with anything we needed. For us, choosing Hotel Luena again was an easy decision, and whenever we return to Portugal, we wouldn’t think twice about staying here again. Highly recommended, especially for families!

Not located in a busy touristy area of Lisbon, it feels a bit more local. The metro stops are 5-10 min walk away. Plenty of grocery stores nearby. The rooms are on the small side. There’s no fan in the bathroom. The included breakfast was ok.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was located exactly where we wanted, amongst lots of thrift shops, but an easy metro ride into downtown. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and they were helpful in prodiving information when needed.

A good place to stay in Lisbone: clean, close to a subway ( only 3 stations from downtown). Nevertheless, family's room are t too small for a family of (4). With the exception of one young lady at the reception, the staff was very friendly. I'll recommend this for couples, for a family of 4 rooms are very small. After all, this is a good place

Nice location ,Breakfast is really good! But there are plenty of demerits as well, No. 1 is the space, it's too small. I don't know how did they figure out /design the whole thing. 2. Amenities were really very basic,3. AC was not well functioning, man Lisbon is awfully hot place and when you leave hotel ,AC does stop by it's own! It takes hell lot of a time to reach to it's desirable temp. They were charging pretty high and in that rate, when I was coming back ,I stayed with other hotel having 5 star facilities but surprisingly at cheaper rate!!! If you are flying from North America, do not choose that property. It's toooooooooooo smalllllllllllllllllllll.

We loved our stay at Hotel Luena! We needed something for our group of 7, with elevator, flat neighborhood, walkable to restaurants, and close to port and airport and Hotel Luena fit our needs perfectly! The check in person and check out person were excellent (both young men) and a special shout out to the check out person who made us sandwiches at 3am and packed us breakfasts to go. That is above and beyond! The breakfast buffet was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had with a wide variety of healthy foods. The hotel was quiet and close to everywhere we needed to go and was affordable. I would absolutely recommend!

The staff were friendly and the hotel is in a great location. The rooms are a bit small (typical in a large city) but were clean and functional. My only small complaint is that the overhead lights can’t be turned off independently from the bedside lights. Otherwise, a great value in an incredible city.

Great hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. They made our birthday celebration truly special by leaving a thoughtful surprise in our room—a birthday card, pastéis de Belém, and a bottle of wine. There are two metro stations nearby, and it’s just three blocks from Tram 28, which is perfect if you want to visit the castle. We had a delicious breakfast in the Pasteleria Monte Rei just in the next corner.
