"Dare Lisbon River is close to everything and although it is across the street from an amazing vegetable and food market, it is very quiet. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and ready to help us with any request. Outstanding! The breakfast was perfect and the lounge was a nice quiet place to unwind with a glass of wine. We were also very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort level of our room. I will not hesitate to recommend it to any friends visiting Lisbon. "

"Susanne and Mauro were the most accommodating and kind hosts. The studio was very clean, and they made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. My kids loved the Studio so much, they asked to stay there forever, and cried when we left! Location was amazing. Literally around the corner from the metro/train station, with access to multiple restaurants, markets, and activities. We will return! We loved it!"

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here, amazing location, the staff (Luciana and the maintenance staff are rockstars) is great and made really good recommendations, the rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you need, and there’s a nice selection of wines in the minibar. There’s a great cafe next door to grab coffee and pastel de natas in the morning before heading out. 10/10 would definitely stay here again next time in Lisbon :-)"

"In Chiado on a side street just a short walk to the water and sights. For me perfectly located for a self guided walking tour from the castle to green street!. But for those out of shape , with disability or with a stroller its a hike up the hill. The hotel is charming and the rooms very clean and well-appointed with a very nice kitchen setup plus a washer. Enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay again!"

The hotel itself was lovely, room was super spacious and clean. Can hear when other people are in the corridor but didnt find this an issue. Shue (hope I spell her name right) gave us a very detail recommendations for Lisbon sightseeings, foods, public transit, etc… the room is spacious, nice decorated, the bed is very comfortable. "The noise was well dampened by the windows but being right in the middle of the action is going to invite more noise than a mountain lodge. The decor is over the top just like you want. The bar downstairs had good action and decently priced drinks. The restaurant choice is excellent, the market is great for lunch and sangria. Bus & trains station are a short walk."
