「Well what an absolute find needed to get our dachshund away as constantly was upset by the coming and going of the window fitters in our house so took her away from the stress and ourselves and what more could we ask for absolutely stress free surroundings hot tub was an absolute bonus will visit again 」

「This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views.」

The cottage was less than a 10 minute walk to the town square. A bit of a hill coming back to the cottage but not difficult at all. 「Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.」

「Lovely place to stay plenty of room great host 」

「Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely 」

「Buryemwick is a beautiful house that is furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with many thoughtful details. The views are stunning and there are lovely walks close-by. The owners live nearby and were very welcoming and did everything to ensure that we had a good stay.」

「Wonderful stay, beautiful area, lovely hosts, peaceful place. Absolutely perfect for us as two small families, lots of space and our dog enjoyed himself too. Good value for money. Thank you」
