I got sick while in Lugano and spent a couple full days in my room. I was so grateful to be at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and the room and beds very comfortable. Second time using Residence Diaz in Como and did not disappoint. Great communication and clear instructions for check in. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller.

I recommend having your own car to fully enjoy the area attractions. But also strongly recommend the train to and from the Olcio station. It's an incredible experience to use the small single line station nestled in the hills and overlooking the lake
