"Very clean accomodations & well appointed home with comfy beds & a wonderful, peaceful setting. It was exactly what we needed! We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and also our quiet morning cup of coffee sitting on the porch & watching the birds. "Front desk clerk was able to adjust my reservation, when I had entered incorrectly on-line. Kudo to him. Room was clean , bathroom could use some maintenance. Overall everything was good, But, Went to breakfast and most everything was gone. One piece of bread. some cookies. There was cereal and yogurt available."

"Listing did not match the description. Home smelt terrible of smoke. Carpet, couch and property was very unclean. Standing water in the basement that made the house smell even more. Only 4 clean towels for 3 people and 3 nights. Only 1 extra blanket. No hand towel for bathroom. We had to purchase toilet paper as there was less than 1 roll. Door would not lock shut unless we pulled up on the entire door and held it up while it locked. Had to purchase cleaning supplies to make it so we could stay. Contacted VRBO to try and get this fixed. Spoke to the host and they never responded. Worst experience ever and use VRBO several times a year. "

"When we arrived it was out of the way and near the golf course… seeing the ports potties in the yard next door was off putting but there was no smell so it was easy to look past them. The house and property was very pleasant and welcoming. Just enough room to be there comfortably. Everything we needed was there for us so we were great! Stacy is professional and friendly and an absolute joy to work with. Accidentally left with the garage door opener but I shipped that back to her once I got back home to NY. I can say I will definitely seek out Stacy next time I need to go to Illinois. Thanks again Stacy! You are the best! "
