"I had booked there because they had an outdoor pool. I was disappointed to find out it was CLOSED. Also we ate breakfast at 9 a.m. and there was no fresh coffee left there or made. Other than those things, our stay was comfortable."

Southern Illinois is interesting. Lots of farms and very rural. Lots of Dairy Queens lol a plus, in my opinion. But overall, felt intense. A lot of white people staring and not in a friendly or even curious way. Felt watched and judged.
