"I think this place does not deserve the negative reviews it gets. First, there are NO accommodations on the beach. It's a small island; almost everything is on a hill. Cleaning is only every 3-4 days or on request; this isn't a 5-star hotel! This is the ONLY truly Green Accommodation I have encountered; the owner deserves respect & gratitude for trying so hard against the wave of the non-caring. "I stayed in the dorm which had 5 single beds as opposed to the usual bunk beds. Beds were reasonably comfy, only came with one blanket, and no towels provided. Aircon and fans available in the room. Staff were relatively friendly, but did not offer advice about the area/things to do etc... without being asked. A short minute or 2 walk to the beach, shops and bars, but far enough away that it is quiet. Not a party hostel"
