"Did not have the breakfast"

"This is a slightly shabby Grande Dame that seems to get most of it's guests through group travel. The room was large and well-appointed, though slightly oddly laid out with a deep bath but no separate shower. The bedding could use a refresh, particularly mattress and pillows. The breakfast was fine, though not of the highest quality (terrible cappuccino) and the staff very formal and obsequious. The location was great, and that really made it work for us."

"I was lucky to have the nicest room in the hotel with a big balcony. It's the most classic place I've seen in a long time and the cleanest. Maria is kind, caring and always cleaning. She is the best. I can't wait to return to Palermo and this hotel. The elevator is an amazing museum piece that works perfectly. Thank you for your kind hospitality and best wishes to all the staff and especially Maria.."
