Unfortunately, as I was new to the area, I couldn't find any car parking within a 5 km radius due to the ski parking being full. "This large and rambling hotel is on a wooded mountain slope near the Happo-One gondola and quite far from Hakuba Station. It is one of only a few hotels operating during the off-season (late June) and would be bustling with winter sports enthusiasts during the ski season. My visit was quiet and relaxing. "

"We staid one week at the Holiday Inn in Omachi. The Hotel is closely located to the transportation system to Murodo if you are interested for mountain hikes up to or around Mt. Tateyama. We felt very comfortable staying at the hotel enjoying the Onsen and our spacious quiet room. The buffet dinner had good selections changing every other night. The hotel is centrally located if you like to go to Hakuba or Matsumoto."
