Lahaina Strong.

We have stayed at other VRBO rentals and also with the other guys. Both my wife and I agree this is the best place we’ve rented so far.First off communication was excellent. Though we had to relocate a couple of days before due to construction the change was seamless and it put us in this unit which in retrospect was better than our first pick. Btw no extra charge. The unit is located right on the water. Beautiful pool that overlooks the ocean ringed by beautifully manicured gardens.Condo was immaculate when we walked in. Everything that you could possibly want is included even some Maui Coffee. The beach chairs and beach towels are a great touch and free you from having to rent or buy for your vacation.Location is ideal. Not loud or busy but walking distance to Badass Coffee. Best Coffee in Hawaii. Also a short drive to groceries, fast food and the Maui Fish Market that serves very fresh seafood or take some back to the condo and enjoy it on the patio.Highly recommend renting this condo on your next trip to Maui.

The location is great, there is a nice green yard between the building and the ocean where you can relax, kick soccer balls, etc. There are also picket ball and tennis courts there available to the public.The beach area is nice, with turtles coming up on the beach every evening.The property is as described, and a great place for a family. There are wake boards, snorkel gear and other beach accessories on hand. The owner makes himself available to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and answered the phone immediately every time we called.The kitchen was well supplied with kettles, etc. and there is a whole drawl full of spies. We brought our own salt and pepper with us, but we would not have had to.Over all, this was a great place to stay, and we would stay here again if we ever came back.

Best view!

Property Does need some upgrades! Had problems getting the TV to work. Everything seems to close early, so it dark just having to watch the news would’ve made it a little bit easier. The kitchen did have pots and pans, but there was no mixing bowls or cereal bowls to use. There was plenty of paper products, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and dish detergent. Love the fact that they gave us beach towels and there were two beach chairs in the closet. Unit needs to either remove the rugs in the bedroom or clean them. The cleanliness of the property was about a four. Our unit was a five. Would love to come back and stay again!

No broom or vacuum No coffee filters 1/2 roll paper towels for 10 days No dish washer soap they did leave laundry soap under the sink maybe thinking it is dish washer soap No cleaning supplies, no vacuum or broom No salt pepper or any seasonings of any kind Very few utensils No ice cube trays No beach chairs, toys or beach towels No lanai chair cushions No Kleenex Gross carpet, stained and smashed food in the pile Gross stained ripped curtains Gross stained kitchen chairs Screen doors don’t open or close properly Safe does not work No deadbolt on the front door Stove markings are worn off and the oven doesn’t heat well

Great stay in Honokawai

Great stay in this oceanfront condo. Conveniently situated between Kaanapali and Napili. Loved the understated, mellow vibe of the condo complex. Appreciated the use of beach chairs and beach towels.

Enjoyed the stay but the property is getting run down. Need to clean the carpet in bedroom. TVs didn’t work. Pool area and ocean front yard is in disrepair.

Paki Maui vacation

The property was in an excellent location. There is plenty to do in walking distance. There are restaurants, coffee shop, and a wonderful massage spa across the street. You are protected between 2 reefs and snorkeling is great in the morning. The condo has a mix of dinnerware. There are a few spices left from others to use. We bought more groceries than needed due to the abondance of amazing food to try in the area. It did get a little loud in the evenings when there was partying in the pool/hot tub area. This was usually done by 10pm after they cleared everyone out. The best was being able to watch whales from the lanai in the morning.

Great place

We stayed here as a family of four (1y and 5y old kids) and it was great. I was worried about the state of the condo but I was pleasantly surprised. Only thing that I want to mention is that there was only one big pot - without a lid. Otherwise everything was great. They had boogie boards, sun umbrella, two beach chairs and lots of snorkeling gear.

False advertising

We could’ve have been more disappointed in this properties cleanliness and lack of supplies. The carpet was extremely dirty and the dust all over the condo was excessive! Refrigerator was broken and a college size fridge was provided in the DINNING room for a condo that’s supposed to accommodate 6! The patio doors did not slide properly and we could not close them, closet doors were the same, bathroom doors had mold, both shower doors leaked. Pictures of all of this can be provided upon request. I expect a call from management with a resolution to our unsatisfactory stay in your rental property. I’ve been visiting Maui for the past 15 yrs and this is the worst experience I’ve had. Your listing and photos is aComplete misrepresentation of the property and borders on fraud. Both Owner and management should be held liable for the misrepresentation.

Great rental for a family

I searched for a place to stay that would work well for a senior and three kids (ages 11, 15, 17). This property fit the bill well! We had views of the ocean and listened to the waves every night. The location was great for getting around Maui. We loved the easy beach access. Check in was extremely easy. We utilized the kitchen a lot to make our trip more affordable. The only downsides we experienced were that the washer/dryer in the room were locked for private use but there was a unit in the building. Also, as mentioned by others, there is no air conditioning but sleeping with the windows open provides breeze. The noise from people enjoying the pool seemed to end around 10pm each evening. We were very happy with our stay and would absolutely love to go back!

Great Location with an Amazing View

We enjoyed our 7 night stay, having the main bedroom water facing made for restful nights listening to the waves and the bed was very comfortable. The unit itself is nice, a dresser would be helpful in the main bedroom ( empty wall space near sink ) as there is only a closet to hang items, it could also use a little TLC as far as wall patches that need to be fixed, paint touch ups, upgrade the furniture as the wicker couch is falling apart. It was fairly clean just dust build up on the sliding door louvres and on the wall around the headboard, AC would be nice addition but the ceiling fans help and there was a floor fan that was a little dilapidated and wouldn't stay on. There is water access from the stairs along the seawall but watch the railing as it's broken, easy access to the park and beach next door, grocery store, restaurants and food truck pavilion all with in walking distance, and a short drive to Kaanapali and Lahaina. Overall great place and would stay here again,

The most comfortable bed - waking up to the sound of the waves was fabulous. Saw a few turtles from the balcony. Did not need to contact the management company at all- was very pleased with everything.

Great Stay

It was just as advertised. The view was incredible and we never shut the doors the whole time we were there. The ocean sounds were amazing! When we come back to Maui, we will be staying here, without a doubt. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Great Location

Great price for a great location! Unit was nice. There is no AC, but with the sliding doors open it wasn’t bad. Great place to stay for couples as the United is fairly large and bedrooms aren’t close together. Close walk to beaches and all kinds of food spots. Fabulous vegan friendly market just across the street as well.

Wonderful Christmas vacation!

As a family we rented 2 two bedroom condos and enjoyed an amazing Christmas vacation. The managing company, Vacasa, was helpful and friendly, the condo was immaculate and well stocked, and the views were breath taking!

Spacious, Good Location, But Dirty & Lacking Promised Supplies

The pros: Comfortable beds (including the sofa bed in LR). Nicely updated and new kitchen and appliances. Cross ventilation (except in 2nd, darker bedroom). Baseball-throwing distance to the ocean and the lanais were practically directly above the pool. Beach umbrella, boogie boards, and snorkel gear provided (yay!) Condo is much more spacious than photos lead you to believe. Easy, free parking. Across the street from a health food store and a 2 block walk to a grocery store (among others) and a permanent stand of upscale food trucks for al fresco dining experiences. Cons: This unit was not very clean. Shag carpet in MBR is in serious need of a steam cleaning. Bathrooms have one small towel rod each (yet supposed to accommodate 6 guests?!). There are exactly 6 bowls, 6 salad and dinner plates, so be prepared to wash dishes a lot. Of the 3 plug-in fans provided, 1 did a very good job, a 2nd did an adequate job, and the 3rd was a joke. We visited in early August when heat and humidity were high, and so sweated it out a great deal: something for other renters to keep in mind. Oh, and there is a constant, high-pitched whine/hum from an electrical station/box that is almost directly below the 2nd bedroom window, so be prepared to listen to that if you have the levelor window open in that room. Lastly, we rented this unit from Vacasa. BIG mistake. We went without (promised) beach towels and bath mats for the first 3 days, despite calling Vacasa. We also endured a broken, semi-working fan that blew chunks of dust and lint at us, for the first 3 days, until it was finally replaced. Vacasa was unresponsive, unhelpful, and once I drove to their local office, learned that they had never received my request for towels and a new fan. Tracking down those items is not how I wanted (or should have) spent my vacation. Boo on you, Vacasa.

Condo needs overall maintenance

All the rooms were nice, good size, and clean with a great view. The sliding doors and screen to the balconies were extremely hard to open and close especially the doors and screens in the master bedroom. The left living room shade won't go down or up. Keep an check on the inside shower divider with the glass sitting on it. The grout is cracking which will allow water to get behind the tiles. Shower ceiling paint is peeling.

We loved our stay. The apartment is very nice and charming and we felt like we were at home. It has amazing views of the ocean as well.
