The hotel is old, and it shows. Shower drain was clogged by the end of trip. The shower head also needed to be soaked in some clr. Lots of build up. Shower needs a good cleaning. The Ac is locked to 18c/64f.wasn’t too hot outside, would be a problem for summer. Didn’t feel like 64 inside. The blankets are weird. Its 2 sheets and a towel like knitted blanket (like a doily)in between. An actual blanket would’ve made sleeping 100x better. There’s a pool with rinse showers. However, they make you fill out a form for pool towels. If you don’t return your towels back to the desk, they’ll charge your room $25/towel. This is obscene to not trust people to return their towels. I’ve stayed at budget inns, and never seen a place do this. If someone really wanted to steal a towel they could easily just write down someone’s else’s room number. And then what? The desk will remove the charge after you dispute it on checkout? Moot point. The biggest con was the parking. It was overfilled every night. The valet were parking in front of half of the parked cars, and left notes on the windshield to call up to get them to remove the car that’s infront of you. That’s if, you were lucky to find a parking spot. They need to restrict their parking to hotel guests only. Parking is $30/night. Staff was always very nice. Starbucks in the lobby was convenient. The hotel itself, needs a lot of work and good scrub. And whoever is in charge of the parking situation needs to stop nickel and diming.
