"Everything about this property is 5 STAR plus! We stayed here to attend a wedding at the 1 Hotel next door and it was very conveniently located just a short walk away. We debated staying at the luxury hotel but we're so glad we chose this wonderful condo instead. Beautifully decorated inside with Hawaiian art and luxury finishes, rivaled only by the view of the Pacific Ocean below, this property is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need and things you didn't know you needed (like a key tag for the Foodland grocery store to get the "locals" discount). The pictures don't do it justice. Gary's thorough pre-arrival communication was full of info about the condo and Kauia. Detailed instructions inside the condo cover everything from how to get the TV/cable to work to maps of local hiking spots.But the true test of a host is how they react when something unusual happens - and Gary responded with flying colors. Hurricane Lowell came thru at the end of our stay and Gary communicated with us before and after to make sure we were secure and safe, and kindly accommodated an additional day when our return travel was impacted. The condo weathered the Cat2 hurricane effects solidly. Unfortunately, much of Kauia was severely impacted by downed trees, loss of power, and property damage. We hope this wonderful island and its residents recover quickly and reopen to visitors soon.If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay here - do it!"

"The views from this place are awesome, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The host was responsive with suggestions. The location was perfect with walking distance to Queens Bath trail and snorkeling beach access without having to drive. Very nice neighborhood for evening strolls. Just a short drive to Anini Beach snorkeling. You are up high overlooking the ocean, facing somewhat west so the sunsets over the water with Napali coast green cliifs at the side were wonderful. I work remotely a few hours a day and the little work desk had the most beautiful view of any office space I've had. It was frustrating that the internet did not work for half of our stay and the wifi signal was just barely strong enough to use my cell hotspot (Verizon). Fortunately we had brought our Roku so that we could watch some sports shows at night. Good restaurant and farmers market suggestions. We had a great time. Red Hot Mamas has the best pork burrito, they should be added to the recommended eating places."
