"The property sits in a beautiful location! Short drive to town for dining and groceries. The linens needed to be washed more frequently. Referring to quilts. They smelled of weeks of oil build up and sweat. Overall the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Also…soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms need updated as the liquid has separated in them and the holder is rusty. We were delayed an hour and a half checking in due to a window repair that was not communicated. Gorgeous beach view!!"

"Mark is the consummate host -ready and willing not only to help with your stay at Riverhouse, but also to help with your arrangements for activities in the area. We LOVED what we called our “treehouse” as the view out the windows was of beautiful green trees, plants, colorful flowers, etc. We found all things we needed in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Clean, soft linens on the comfortable beds. For those who haven’t been to Hawaii in recent years, bring ear plugs for night sleeping as the roosters all over the island are avid crowers! In other respects, this couldn’t be a more peaceful place to be."

"Gorgeous home, amazing views! RIGHT on the beach. I didn’t fully understand that 2 of the bedroom/suites were “separate” from the main house, for multiple couples/families that’s a definite plus, for one family with kids it’s a little less desirable. A bit of traffic noise in those 2 suites. Just good to know going in. House was immaculately clean, stocked with everything you could possibly want! Loved the beach towels, beach chairs, etc… The location was perfect for us, away from the mainstream, but close enough to drive, lush surroundings, perfectly secluded. Fans were a definite plus since the ocean front rooms don’t have a cross breeze. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. "
