「Beautiful old pub in idyllic setting. Perfect for a quick drive into Stratford and the race course. Very warm welcome, lovely clean individual rooms retaining lots of the buildings charter. Bed was beautifully clean and we had a fantastic nights sleep. Full English breakfast freshly cooked was spot on. Great walk around the village, we will be back soon. Thank you 😊」

「Lovely friendly pub with some accommodation. This is my second stay, and I was made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Great range of beers and ciders with quiz nights and cheese evenings during the week」

「Nice clean room, staff pleasant. Very good price and perfect location for us. Only downside was the noise insulation could be better. Couldn’t hear anything from the bar but the room above were constantly moving for hours and next doors snoring could clearly be heard. However would stay again 」

「A very nice place and excellent pub food. We stayed in the "annex" across the street from the pub. As they warned, the staris were steep, so those with mobility issues may have trouble. The room was large and the bathroom was good. We only requested room cleaning once during our 6-night stay. The only minor issue was it seemed the common hallways and our room floor was not vacummed. All other services were excellent. We would definitely return to the Rose & Crown.」

「Very nice place and great staff,room was perfect and bath and shower were excellent.the only thing I would recommend is a mattress topper as the mattress was a bit lumpy.」

「The room was minamilistic. No towels.Shampoo or soap. Extremely nosey as pub on the lower floor. I only ended up staying one night. The staff how ever where very friendly.」
