I only stayed for one night , but the house is spotless and I was served a nice breakfast too. I also enjoyed the room. wish I could have stayed longer!

This was an amazing stay. Renee is a great host. She is clean, personable, and professional. The home is very cozy, and while still a work in progress, the outdoor area is beautiful and teeming with potential. This is not a hotel or a motel, understanding this, do not expect the starchy atmosphere of those places, but instead appreciate the friendly, homely vibe. If you’re looking for somewhere reasonably priced, clean, and cozy, this is a great spot.

Nice find for the price!

The hostess Rene was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bed and linens. I was pleasantly surprised that I had my own toilet. It was nice to have access to the kitchen and living room.

Felt like I was family , she cooked us breakfast in the morning and also offered lunch and dinner , and also addressed that every Wednesday was laundry day and it was included with our stay, and told us if we pay for two days that we have the option to stay the third day free of charge

Rene is very friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. The communication is great. The environment is quiet and clean. This was my second time staying there, and I will definitely be back!

Amazing bed and breakfast in a quiet suburb

This is a wonderful, affordable place to stay tucked away in a quiet suburb. Renee was absolutely incredible and made sure that we were taken care of. She was gracious and hospitable in an unparalleled fashion. The rooms themselves are well kept and quiet. I am used to having to pay far more for the incredible value I got from this place. Can't recommend them enough! Whenever I come back to Connecticut, THIS is the ONLY place I'll ever consider staying.

This Guest house was everything way better than a regular hotel...the host outstanding....A must use its design especially for traveling nurses and business class assoiates like myself and my free nights.... give them a call its worth it...every PENNY!!!!

Not a great experience

This "stay" was an overbooking from the site. Therefore, I never set foot in the facility!! The manager, Rene, did contact another hotel to get me lodging for the night, at $50 more than I had paid!! I sincerely doubt that I would ever return to this facility. I am hoping that my refund is processed by Experia (I did purchase the trip insurance, thank God!!).

Horrible horrible treatment. I asked to stay another night, they rejected my stay and threw my items out to the street. When I entered the lobby to get my things, they threatened me with aggressive behavior. Unsafe hotel that should not be on Expedia.

We called weeks ahead to cancel but they would not waive charge according to Expedia. So we did not stay at Jays Ranch but forgot to cancel also. Staff was very nice to call us next day to see why we didn’t show up and they knew about the refusal of credit denial. Staff felt bad because there had been a mix up on us being denied refund. So they wanted to give us a free stay or give us our money back. Because we chose not to stay I told them no need for refund because we forgot to cancel so was our fault. They were very kind to do all of this.

I had to arrive late. Didn’t receive check in email as indicated on reservation instructions. The phone number doesn’t work and when I contacted Expedia Jays Ranch called me told me to call when I arrived. They didn’t answer my call. I sat outside on a dark street at 1030pm and waited for 15 mins. I finally left and had to find a place to sleep. They won’t give me a refund. Very bad. Don’t go there!
