「The room was great everything is updated and beautiful and the view was great as well, however the name of the place has “resort in it”, but it is more of an apartment building, there aren’t really any amenities, there is a pool and that’s about it. Also, there are only 2 elevators for the entire building including 29 floors, there is a daily “peak time” where the elevators have specific stops that will not go to your floor even when you press the button. 「Needed to change rooms upon arrival. Mold and crumbling paint on ceiling. The next room was better. Dirty furniture Rooms are cleaned only upon request. Depressing.」

「Room was not great and just very outdated. Staff was nice except when asking for a blanket or pillow lol. Was not cheap for what you get other than location. 」

「The room does NOT look like what is pictured. There was carpet that was dirty and had crumbs all over it. Cob webs in the corner along with an inch of dust on the door frames all very visible. We had no hot water upon arrival staff kept sending me to talk to Expedia when the entire time it was their issue. Refused a refund and I wasn’t even there an hour. 」

「We stayed one night at the Beachcomber. Overall it exceeded our expectations. The location was good, the rooms were clean and the grounds were very nice. Overall the staff was attentive. The only concern that I have is that we were not told about a $45 resort fee when we reserved the room nor when we checked in.」

「I stayed in the maxine building and its was not as expected, I woke up to roaches in my room and the bathroom, I had to be moved to the main building the Catalina where I expected to stay originally the phones weren’t working it took them forever to bring us wash cloths it’s wasn’t horrible however it wasn’t worth the money spent the room in the Catalina was a bit better no roaches obviously and the sheets were a bit better quality. I would come back however I’d like to avoid the Maxine...
