I am a solo female traveler, middle class, late 40s, with experiences ranging from rustic tent camping in the woods to luxury all inclusives. I stayed here for 2 nights in a unit beside the pool and main office. Overall, the unit and property met my expectations. As an older budget hotel, you get what you pay for. The room was clean and pest-free, but with many signs of aging. The shower, toilet, both sinks, insides of refrigerator and microwave, and surfaces were spotless. However, caulking and grout has deteriorated, hard to reach corners had buildup, there were paint imperfections, and metallic surfaces had rust spots. Furnishings are in good condition and modern. The mattress firmness was mid range, the bedding was clean, but the sheets were rough. The white noise created by the AC was able to drown out sounds from the unit above and heavy traffic so I could get a good night of rest. The property has many covered areas to get outside during a rain storm or to escape the sun. Pool area was clean. My only complaint is the entire walkway in front of the pool and office was flooded with a 3-4” pool of standing water for several hours following a rainstorm. Since the rest of the walkways on the property had dried up and were accessable, this is an obvious problem that should be addressed. The beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants are a short walk away. I would come back again for a quick beach day or local event, but I would not stay longer than one or two nights.

It's nice,calm but very basic. You get what you pay for. Staff is great,you can get beach chairs and towels. They even have some kids toys. The kitchen has very limited dishes/pots/pans and utensils but we managed. The pool is little and just by the road so not very pleasant but it's clean. Other than constant rain we didn't have any issues:-)

While this property had a great location and spacious rooms, ours came with a little friend. The cleanliness of the property was questionable. We came back from our breakfast to find a cockroach climbing on our wall. We immediately called the front desk to request a room change and the person at the front desk sighed and sounded annoyed with our request to change rooms. They never once apologized for our experience or offered any sort of empathy. We even took a picture of the cockroach. We were able to change our room and the new room looked and smelled cleaner than our original. We were pleased with the pool amenity and the walkable distance to the beach and restaurants. For a two star hotel it was nice overall aside from the cockroach situation.

Our room was dirty, and we had cockroaches and termites, I do have pictures! We did move in the pouring rain to another room. During our stay, the cleaning staff did not change our bed sheets. The pool was very small, and they use recirculated water. Did not smell any chlorine/chemicals, and the water was freezing. Property needs updated very bad. But see the bugs I was disgusted.

Recently stayed at this property. I liked that it was near the beach on one side and intercoastal on the other, and convenient cheap parking. BUT, the racket and partying nearby went until 1am making it hard to rest, room condition quite poor, though bed was clean. The fridge was so noisy too. I guess that’s all why it was so affordable to stay there.

Nice little motel one block from the beach. All kinds of restaurants. Stayed the night before leaving for a cruise out of Port Everglades. Was only eight miles to port. Will definitely stay again.

Absolutely no complaints. The staff were amazing, very friendly and very helpful. Checking in was smooth. We arrived in the morning. They let us leave our luggage with them and called us to let us now it was ready an hour earlier than expected. We were there for 6 nights and stayed in one of the suites which I would recommend for long stays (shorter stays you might consider the regular rooms and save). The extra room made it feel homey. We grabbed some groceries and settled in. Although a bit dated, the room was very clean. No views of anything looking out the windows which was fine, but the location makes up for it. We were litterally one minute walk to the beach. Overall, great value for the money. No need to over pay at some of the other places. We will definitely stay here again if we decide to visit in the future.

Amazing staff. Property gives exactly what’s in its name beachside vibes! You are steps from Hollywood beach and the boardwalk. The parking is a plus. They also let you rent beach chairs and beach towels for free! I’ll definitely be going back in the summer!
