"The room was huge, brand new and beautiful with incredible amenities, but the service sets apart the Kamo from other hotels. The staff repeatedly went beyond expectations."
"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "
"I had a lovely stay in one of the double rooms which is very spacious for Japanese hotels. I loved the the design of the room as well as its amenities - especially the en-suite bathroom! It’s located in a quite side street and the downstairs gyoza restaurant was outstanding! Would highly recommend staying at hotel inc when in Tokyo! "
"Beautiful hotel with Japanese garden connected to the room. Matcha room has private outdoor soaking tub over looking garden. Very zen atmosphere! 15 minute cab ride from Kyoto station in local neighborhood."

"Very clean and modern with a vibe throughout. Great lobby area, original with comfy sofas, seats for board games, record player, fresh bread all day and drinks too. Great selection of board games to sit and play too.
Very helpful staff and great amenities.
The room was beautiful, clean and modern, cosy and luxurious. Amazing shower. One of the best hotels and completely underrated!!"
"The hotel is lovely and staff very friendly. It is in a quiet area with a few places to eat. There is a restaurant which we didn't try. There is a free shuttle bus to and from a subway station which was really useful as the hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the nearest subway stop. "
"The rooms were big and comfy, the onsen was also really relaxing. My only concern was there was no ice bath to cool off in but other than that it was very nice. They offer free ice pops as well which was amazing. The massage chairs however were always occupied so we didn't get to use them. The pillows and mattress are also very firm but surprisingly we would wake up with no back pain. In terms of closeness, it's about a 5 minute walk from Kyoto station. We really enjoyed our stay here regardless"
"This hotel never disappoints. This is out second time staying here and every time we have a pleasant experience. The rooms are nice. The bus and subway are mins away. Many spots such as dt Kyoto, nishiki market, and the shopping arcades, are walkable. The lounge area is beautifully decorated and peaceful. The roof top patio gives a nice view of Kyoto."
"We stayed this hotel for one night for the convinece the free shuttle bus to golden temple. This hotel really impressed us is the super friendly and polite staff. The young man who checked in us , his name is Khin M. He speaks fluent English, he is very polite and friendly, helped us to store our mutiple luggages before check in and after check out, and he helped us to book shuttle bus to golden temple. He is very kind, after checked out, he also offered us 2 bottles of water. The hotel is in very convinent location, train station is next door. The room which we stayed is very quiet and clean! Oh, the free shuttle bus to golden temple is very clean and convinent, the driver is very nice and on time! We definitely recommand this hotel! Thank you very much for the pleasant stay!"
"I would recommend this hotel. No complaints about it at all. The location was not my personal favorite in Kyoto, but it is super close to Nijo Castle and the Imperial Palace which is nice. The station is also just steps away and will get you wherever you need quickly."
