"Wonderful stay! The staff were so pleasant. Rooms were great. We got king deluxe and fit perfect for 2 of us. Great breakfast. Lovely gym. Awesome location and proximity to walking anywhere or catching train. Right above the train station. "

"The hotel was close to the station and the garden. The staff was very friendly and helpful however for the entire duration of my stay, the room spewed only hot air from its vents. It was incredibly hot inside the room at all times and made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, it was a good place"

"No good shopping nearby. Towels and toilet were smelly. Staff did not seem happy to help. We thought staying next to Nijo station would be convenient, but this wasn’t worth it considering the nearly 30 noisy ambulances that went by during our two day stay. Breakfast was ok. "

"Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is close to the imperial palace, but not to other sites of Kyoto. The subway is close, as is the bus stop, plenty of convenience stores close by. We had booked the family room, which was quite tight for 3 adults, but we still enjoyed our stay here."
