"We enjoyed our stay at the house boat, great location and easy to access all of Hamburgs sights on foot or on the s-Bahn with a station down the road. The houseboat is spacious, and we were greeted by Karsten who gave us a very thorough induction to everything we needed to know during our stay. Roof top was lovely in good weather. Stairs up and down are very steep so would advise caution to anyone with young children. Thanks for a great stay - we loved Hamburg and would love to return!"

"There were eight of us that stayed very comfortably in the houseboat. We had an excellent time, taking out the canoes and exploring the canals leading to a pretty lake that was fun to fish in the neighborhood was beautiful and walkable and public transportation was very close we would highly recommend this and stay there again. It was a beautiful experience."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated houseboat. It would have been easier to have a car. Taking an Uber to down was a pain and very expensive and public transport is not very convenient from this part of city. Overall, a great experience and very peaceful location."

"Das Hausboot hat alle Erwartungen bestens erfüllt. Check-in lief reibungslos, die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war herausragend, die Einweisung in die kleinen Besonderheiten perfekt. Die Lage des Bootes könnte besser nicht sein. Es ist toll, wenn abends die Fische im Hafenbecken springen und die Möwen streiten. Ankommende und abfahrende Segler können beobachtet werden. "Beware of this listing! When we booked no where did it say that you must bring your own bedding and towels. We were supposedly informed if this in a message hidden in the VRBO app 5 days before our check in and long after we had flown half way around the world. When we arrived we were told we would have to send the property manager 100 Euros via PayPal and they would bring us bedding and towels but not until the next day leaving us to sleep on nothing the first night. "Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay here, it was the perfect spot for some rest and recuperation following watching some of the Euros. Axel was very helpful and informative, ensuring our stay would be perfect and without any hiccups. With Aldi just a short walk around the corner we could pop out to get groceries easily to cook on the boat. The rooms were good sized given the size of the boat, the bathroom was clean and the shower was good. Would highly recommend if staying in the area."
