Fort Washington Park

The look out point from fort Washington and below are where the guns would have been and the dug out are where the mines used to be #green
Very nice views of the Potomac River. There are also spots for some great fishing and picnics. Just behind the way going to the lighthouse you can see the fort.
The fort is part of the National Park system and is definitely worth a visit if find yourself in the area of DC. The history is interesting but the setting is stunning.
