"Smoke detectors were going off for hours. Staff “couldn’t figure out” how to shut them off after someone burnt popcorn. We were traveling with an infant and they couldn’t find the cribs that are advertised as free/available. What a disaster and the staff was so unhelpful and apathetic."

"This was my second time staying at the Holiday Inn Long Island-Islip Arpt East by IHG. Each time I visit I always felt right at home. The staff is amazing and all that you need is right there. I needed assistance with printing some very important documents and Devin was very helpful. He was very friendly and made me feel safe as if I were talking to a family member. Each time I visit Long Island Holiday Inn Long Island-Islip Arpt East by IHG will be my number one pick. Thank you!"

"rundown roadside motel- not a boutique hotel shown on expedia website.. complete lie pool not available w no prior notice & still charged rec fee. run down rooms w broken door lock..staff NEVER answers phone nor EVER returns messages no matter when i try contacting..amenities listed on expedia website and atlantic website are a lie- no shuttle bus or pass to a beach, no welcome drinks or snacks, cracked leather chair in room.. atlantic should be listed as a roadside motel not a boutique hotel even though they the room fee is expensive"

"I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and I have to say that this is a unique opportunity for me to sing the praises of a gentleman and scholar; his name is Jose Lopez and is the chief engineer of the property. I’m sure it is not often to hear about someone behind the scenes. Jose exuded the traits of a top tier management position as he was intelligent, compassionate and committed to excellence. He was immediately able to rectify an issue I had and ensure my stay at the property was one that would make my family happy. The back of the house and those who put the heads in beds housekeeping manager Mr. Polanco, part of his team Maria Garcia housekeeping as one learns in hospitality school are also the unsung heroes of the industry where a property cannot function without excellence. Jose Lopez, head of the engineering department Mr. Polanco …when I am asked about my stay I must say they are the ones who can make the most difference in a world of negativity. Of course GSA Caitlin was superb and I will detail her amazing performance in my next review"

"The room was clean and nice. Having 4 kids with us it was upsetting that the ac in the living room didn’t work and the shower head was not functioning properly and had very low water pressure. There’s 2 tvs but only 1 remote was provided. Other than the few things we enjoyed our stay."
