Leonardo Hotel Southampton

Leonardo Hotel Southampton

10/10 Excellent
"We had exec room 913 on the top floor . Lovely stay, nice facilities , very clean and a really comfy bed. Only downside being the aircon , it was hopeless . That was such a shame because everything else was perfect and I was desperate for a proper nights sleep after the run of warm weather."

Solent Hotel and Spa

Solent Hotel and Spa

10/10 Excellent
"I’ve stayed at Solent Spa a few times now and have always had a great experience. The staff are consistently pleasant, friendly and happy to accommodate requests. I asked for one of the newly furnished rooms, which is always my preference, and was pleased to get exactly that. The room was spotless and very comfortable. There were just a couple of minor things that could do with attention. The fridge was missing its front badge, leaving a small hole, although it worked perfectly well. The interior glass from the door peephole was also missing, making it difficult to see clearly outside. The TV remote was intermittently not working, even after changing the batteries with reception. The car park exit barrier is the one recurring issue I’ve experienced. This has happened on both occasions I’ve stayed recently. The barrier tells you to wait 12 seconds, but sometimes it still doesn’t open, meaning I have to press the button again. Hopefully this can be looked into. Breakfast was good, and although I remember when Solent had a menu with table service, which was always a 10/10 experience, I completely understand why things have changed and have no issues with the current setup. Overall, Solent Spa is a lovely place to stay. Despite the few minor points mentioned, I had another great experience and would happily return. The friendly staff, comfortable rooms and overall atmosphere make it somewhere I’m always happy to stay."

"Stayed 5 nights , like the area and Old Town Portsmouth. The Hotel is in a excellent position in middle of Shopping outlet so close to bars and restaurants. The rooms are reasonable size ,the beds could be upgraded or a decent topper for the top of mattress also pillows were a bit lumpy. A reasonable breakfast was provided a full English type or cereals, toast jam and croissants also available."

Village Hotel Southampton Eastleigh

Village Hotel Southampton Eastleigh

8/10 Good
"Stayed here one night before a cruise out of Southampton. A wonderful big hotel with Starbucks on site and a large pool and hot tub along with steam rooms, ice plunge and sauna. I only use the pool in the hot tub, but there were lots of people using the rest of the amenities. Room was small but very comfortable. Bathroom has a glass door, which was fine for me because I had my own room. I don’t think I would be as comfortable if I were sharing with friends . There would be no privacy unless the other person left the room. Other friends, I was traveling with suggested bringing a cheap shower curtain to throw over the door and that would solve all the issues a . My only real issue was that the restaurant was out of things that I wanted to order for dinner. In the end, the food was not that great. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with this hotel. I would definitely stay here again, but I would have food delivered."
