"The Allegro Cozumel was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the staff were so nice, especially Danna, the beach waitress. So nice, kind and helpful! I got two massages from Olga and Alexandria (sp), and they both were fantastic! Highly recommend getting a massage from either or both of these ladies. Great beach and great staff. We will definitely be back! Thank you "

"The friendliness, attentiveness and overall good vibes from the staff were likely the highlight of the trip. Breakfast buffet was great, lunch options by the pool were outstanding, especially Maria’s tacos and quesadillas, those were probably the best food we had during our stay! Unfortunately, dinner was not great and there’s room for improvement there in terms of quality and variety."

"We just spent 8 days here and both enjoyed it very much the property is beautiful and well maintained. The food all around was very good with some buffet nights being a bit of a hit or miss but that’s depending on personal taste. The bars for the most part were pretty fast especially the adults only pool bar. The adults only pool was a nice getaway from the loud music and noisy crowd at the main pool but the pool needs to be skimmed more often as there can be quite a few leaves and bugs floating around by noon. The beach was very nice with clear signage as to the inherent risk you take swimming in the ocean with there being sharks, stingrays, jellyfish and crocodiles. The water is fairly calm as it’s not facing directly into open ocean on the east. The chairs on the other hand are quite a problem at this resort as they don’t have enough of them for the amount of rooms they fill for the resort. If you’re not up at the crack of dawn going to the beach to get your seats you’re out of luck and that’s that no extra chairs you would have to sit on the beach but as the sand has lots of coral and shells in it that becomes quite uncomfortable fast. Other than that we loved it there and those would be our only gripes"

"The resort is in transition where they are taking what were three properties (A Sunscape that is out of business now, a Secrets, and a Dreams) and making a big Dreams resort. The spa offered hair services but there was no one to do braids for my wife so she could have them to protect her hair while we were there. We usually try to use the service to give some more business to the resort when we go. The male night conceierge on Sunday April 20 made my wife feel incredibly inconvenient when she spoke about struggling to find gluten free food to meet her Celiac needs. The asian restaurant had advertised GF options but then said they couldn't help us. Then Eloisa (manager Market Cafe), Victor (Oceana manager), and Gabriel (Concierge) came to the rescue to make sure my wife was well fed. The beach is beautiful and pools were well kept. There are fish a plenty so bring your desires to snorkel while remaining on resort but bring water shoes to protect your feet. I think when the remodel is complete it will be a very big and beautiful resort. Presently it is an intimate resort with less amenities. In an ideal world they would complete the renovation to Dreams and leave the Secrets alone with ability to use the additional amenities that would result from the Dreams renovation. "

"So fortunate to find this spot, a quiet place close drive to anything on the island but far enough away from the cruise ship crowds. Great pools, fun snorkeling right off the beach. The property is amazing well furnished and plenty of space for our group of nine. Highly recommend."

"Everything was great. Loved the 1st floor walkout. Great views of the sunsets, the beach and the pools. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Very peaceful & serene. The casa is immaculate and comfortable. Friendly staff! Facilities are fresh and well maintained. It was an awesome trip!"

"The unit was very lovely with plenty of space and a large balcony for dining and relaxing. It looked even nicer than in the photos and was incredibly well-stocked. The property was beautifully maintained. We loved having a beach right on the property. We rented a car, which made the location work for us as it is definitely a drive to get to restaurants and shopping. "
