"I was at Hotel Noku Kyoto on holiday and had an unavoidable work video call I needed to take from my room — not exactly what you plan for on vacation. The front desk team were absolutely brilliant. They made sure I had everything sorted, from a proper desk and chair to adapters and even a desk lamp, and made the whole thing so smooth and stress free. The hospitality here is something else. We'll genuinely miss the people and the whole experience — and we will absolutely be back."

"This hotel is very nice, clean, safe and close to all forms of transportation. Breakfast included western style food, very good. The staff should be trained to explain things such as where to find ice since the floors do not have ice machines nor do the rooms have ice buckets ( strange) or where to find their other amenities. Overall we recommend staying at this hotel, mostly adult guests. "

"No one to help with luggage; front desk would not make dinner reservation--told to walk downstairs and do it myself; very small room; sink and vanity in bedroom area instead of the bathroom; no English television station; no view from bedroom to outside; charge for everything, for example the cappuccino at breakfast and ice at bakery; gym is very small, cold, bad smell, no water and no towels; service staff often unfriendly and unprofessional. Not recommended!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the rooms were to an excellent standard and the cleaners did an exceptional job at tidying our room. The hotel has many facilities, such as 4 restaurants to choose from, and they provide a quality breakfast. Though that can get a bit repetative because the same foods are being served. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, and we had no problems checking in. The location of the hotel is inconvienient. It is a good 10 minute walk to the metro. Though luckily there is a shuttle bus that takes you to the metro station every 20 mins, which we used regularly. Overall, our stay at Kyoto Brighton hotel was lovely, and would recommend to anyone who is travelling to Kyoto. "

"This was our favorite hotel on our 10 day trip to Japan. The onsen was amazing, the massage chairs hit the spot when available, and we enjoyed the free coffee / ice cream / ramen daily. We did not add breakfast. The check in area can get hectic, but they had plenty of staff and things moved along nicely. Highly recommend!"

"Great amenities I love Refa equipment and was pleasantly surprised they had the showerhead and dryer, hotel staff were helpful and polite, breakfast was delicious. Overall in a great location, the room was also very spacious and comfortable. Overall one of my favorite stays, would highly recommend this hotel."

"The property was in a great area. Hard to find a bad area in Kyoto. It's a truly wonderful city. Our hotel room was quite small for my taste and not strong in amenities. But it was very clean and the staff as always in Japan were very respectful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was average but decent and clean. "
