"The staff were all great. The room was very clean and spacious. the breakfast was very good. The parking was very good. I enjoyed the free shuttle service to and from the Clinic. The drivers were very friendly and helpful. I would like to stay here again on my next visit to the clinic"

"With cold scrambled eggs and bad-tasting chicken sausage at breakfast, and a too soft mattress, things were not going well with my stay. But the clincher of terrible service came the when the toilet became plugged. I called the front desk and explained the situation and the employee said he’d be right there with a plunger. Imagine my surprise when he knocked on the door a few minutes later and handed me the plunger, stating, “Here’s the plunger you asked for” as he extended it towards me, indicating that I was to unplug the toilet myself. My experience certainly made it easy to decide that I’ll never stay here again!"

"Room was clean. Nothing special but it was a good price. Pool is more of a wading pool than anything. Parking is a joke. Not enough spots for everyone to park and people park in non-parking areas and block entrances but nothing is done. Street parking is available but it is not a safe area. I didn’t like leaving my car on the road. Lots of cops and drugs in the area. Breakfast is good, if you get there early enough that there is still food left."

"The Brentwood is our favorite hotel to stay at when we are visiting the Mayo Clinic! Although it isn't as new as some of the other nearby hotels, our rooms are always clean and well maintained. I'll admit some of the building appears shopworn, it is still a great place to stay. Parking is available and convenient. But the best feature is the elevator that goes directly to the Mayo Subway system."

"Desk clerk did not greet us and was indifferent with our disappointment that the room we reserved months in advance was occupied. No information was given about breakfast, hot tub being out of order or location of the elevators. Just a shrug and " down that way". Toilet was installed on an angle from the wall, paper holder was installed crooked , mold on floor tiles and safety grip was installed on the wrong side of the shower that would only help you step out of the shower and onto the toilet. This was a return trip but will NOT be returning."
