The Silver Lake I visited in my childhood, once beautiful and maintained, has been overtaken by Canadian geese, who migrated down and stay full time. Ruined that memory, for sure.

I enjoyed renting a kayak and paddling around. There is a 1.8 mile trail around the lake, and I walked it twice. Bicycles for rent as well. Recommend this for a fun outing.
