「I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. 」

「It started out with no contact from host. Took 1/2 hour to get code. Owners appear to be on property. At night could not get door to stay shut, put a chair against it. Traffic from Hwy 63 was very noisy. I was ok about the airport noise as they disclosed it. Only stayed 1 night due to the above issues. Paid for 2 nights but wasn't worth staying.」

「Just keep in mind that the property is very old and so are all the appliances and furniture. When I say old, I mean clawfoot bathtub old. 「We spent 6 nights while visiting Mayo. House was clean, comfortable beds, great linens (super fluffy bath towels) and well stocked kitchen. Close enough to walk to Mayo, which we did on several occasions. We enjoyed the back porch and fish pond too.」

「This was a great location in relation to the Mayo. I wish you would do something about the steps up to the unit. The gutter over the bottom step leaks and drips on that bottom step. It froze over night and when I went out the next morning I slipped on that step. I was able to catch myself but someone else might not. It was adequate for our needs.
