Magical Nest Hideaway

We are located about 1-1.5 miles west of Mayo Clinic. You'll find us located in a beautiful, quiet and secluded neighborhood. We have a private entrance, a staircase and path to your lovely hideaway. The wooded area behind our home has lots of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see deer in the backyard, as many as six at one time! Sometimes a group of turkeys will feed under our deck, you can watch them just outside the windows of your studio apartment. We are often told of how beautiful and peaceful it is here. There is a covered patio and furniture to relax on in the evenings.

Perfect place for us all around!

Greg was a great host. The Magical Nest was exactly as described/expected. Great for 1or 2 people. It had everything we needed. Location was perfect as well. Nice quiet neighborhood and a shaded/private patio was awesome. The check-in/check-out process very simple/straight forward.

Can't say enough about this place and the owner, hands down! Easy check in/out, beautiful setting/neighborhood, extremely clean, very quiet, and owner is very respectful. I will definitely be back next time I have to come to Rochester! Thanks for a great stay!

The property has a wonderful back yard. We saw deer esting there. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe there. Things were very neat and clean. I would stay there again.

Wonderful private apartment for the weekend.

The space was clean spacious and inviting. The yard offered beautiful view. The host was very nice easy to work with. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, all with patios of course. It was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway.

We stayed here while we had some testing done at Mayo, and it was an excellent place to stay for this. The kitchenette is adequate for cooking simple meals, and the furnishings are nice. There are steps around to the back of the house where the apartment is, so if you are having major surgery, this may not be a good fit for that purpose, but otherwise, it is an excellent place to stay.

The hosts were great with communication being on the great side also. The venue was extremely clean and welcoming for our stay. The 30 some turkeys in the backyard was pretty cool ! Overall a terrific stay and if we have to come back will stay here!

Magic Nest was Wonderful

We were in Rochester , MN for an appointment at the Mayo Clinic. Not the best reason to have to take a trip, but our stay at this studio was truly amazing. Clean, comfortable, great location, and every thing one would need right on site. Would highly recommend a stay at this property whether traveling for fun, work, or other.

Sweet dreams!

I am so impressed with this property. It was exactly as advertised. The bed and linens very comfortable. The home is a little oasis in the middle of Rochester. As a patient at Mayo Clinic I am a frequent flyer. I will absolutely stay again!

5-star unit, location & host

In a quiet neighborhood not too far from conveniences, this location was a perfect retreat from post-holiday hustle. Well-lit stairs lead to the private entrance. The space is clean & bright and the host had snacks & music playing when I arrived. I recommend it and will choose it for myself again.

Included Everything We Needed!

Cozy spot for one or two with great interior lighting. Wonderful lengthy bathroom countertop to spread out toiletry bags. Small kitchen but included all that we needed. Enjoyed the magnificent large wild turkeys when they strutted across the back yard! Host was very kind and considerate of our privacy.

Very nice

Place was small but very comfortable. Nice part of town. There are some steps to go down so it may not work for those who can't navigate steps. Nice outdoor patio and scenic surroundings. This is a lower level of the owners house with a walkout door to the patio.
