"This is an old Japanese home that was remodeled. It is spacious, clean, and overall my family enjoyed the stay. We also ordered dinner, which was a mix of meat, fish and vegetables we grilled over hot coals in a hearth in the living room; it was delicious and fun to cook. "This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."
