「Visited as we had a family funeral with the wake being held at the Bannatyne hotel. As a family we couldn’t recommend it more, we were given a room upgrade which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with great choice for everyone. Would definitely stay again.」

「We had a wonderful stay. Every member of staff we met was super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was great with a fantastic view of the sea. Breakfast was really nice and great view of the sea also We would stay again, no hesitation!」

「The superior room was comfortable and led out to a huge quiet garden. But the decking and furniture outside were rotten. The bathroom had an unstable toilet and a difficult shower. Insulation was poor. Presentation on approach wasn’t great, with dead plants everywhere. Having said that, we had a great night’s sleep and staff were friendly and helpful. Location great.」

「　一番上の部屋でした。８月だったので、晴れていると日中は窓を開けていても暑かったです。海は見えません。 　階段しかないので少し大変です。特に最後の階段は細くなっており、荷物を持って上がるのは大変でした。（階段の踊り場に所々、椅子とキャンディーが置いてあって、「休憩」できます。） 　朝早くから、カモメ（海鳥が周辺にたくさんいます）の声が結構うるさいです。でも、海側の部屋だったら海鳥込みで景色がすごく素敵だったと思います。 　水回り、部屋の使い勝手は、普通にいいです。清潔さはありました。 　到着時刻を知らせてほしいと事前にメールが来ます。知らせておかないと、チェックイン時間内でも、スタッフがいないこともあるようです。時間内なのに入口がロックされており、張り紙がされてスタッフがいない日がありました。（宿泊者は、部屋の鍵で入口の鍵を開けて入ることができます。） 　駅へも旧市街へも徒歩５分程度で、便利でした。 　宿泊費を考えると、「オトクな宿」だったと思います。」

「We had a lovely stay here. The room was so beautiful, and we really appreciated being able to check in early. The location is excellent, everything was within easy reach. A wonderful place to stay, and we would happily return. One more thing, love the breakfast!」

「Our room was clean, spacious and we loved the interior decor. We had a little trouble getting in, however the bar staff were very helpful in sorting that out. As it is above a pub, it was noisy until the pub closed.」

It is absolutely gorgeous, the room was spacious and had the most fabulous bathtub. The breakfast is wonderful and Karen is so kind and accommodating. I highly recommend The Laindons.」
