"This was a good space for our one night stay. Didn’t do any cooking. Location was walking distance to restaurants, but with our kids we drove the short distances. We enjoyed the beach chairs provided. Communication/check in and out was a breeze. Comfortable bed and the fan noise was appreciated especially with the roosters outside. If we were there longer, I would likely want a place with more space, but it was perfect for a quick stay. "

"El Navegante Hostel is a simple and safe place to stay while visiting Culebra. The property is clean, well-located, and offers a relaxed island atmosphere that fits the spirit of the island. It’s a convenient base if you plan to spend most of your time exploring around. The accommodations are quite basic and could benefit from a few improvements. The bedding quality is fairly minimal and could be upgraded for better comfort. There are also no options for storing or hanging clothes, which makes it a bit inconvenient for travelers staying more than a night or two. Additionally, the shower pressure is very weak, which can make it difficult to properly rinse after a long day at the beach. Overall, it’s a clean and secure hostel that serves its purpose for a short island stay, but with a few upgrades to comfort and amenities it could provide a much better guest experience."

"It was as expected, cheap but clean. Communication with the property manager was good (via texts). The main drawback is a shared bathroom and shower that is outside the hotel rooms. Walls are thin and noise from the streets and other rooms comes right in. But it was sufficient for our needs. "

"We loved this place. Didi, the on site manager was kind and helpful. The kitchen had everything we could want to prepare meals. Bathrooms were small but adequate, with plenty of hot water. There was air conditioning, but we only used it once - in the bedroom the night we arrived. The rest of the week we were there, the breezes combined with the screened and jalousied windows kept us comfortable. And that porch and view! The breezes kept the bugs at bay and I spent a great deal of time sitting, relaxing, and reading on the porch. Close to the airport so fun to watch the planes take off and land. They are small planes, so not noisy. Uphill from the school and playground. Close to La Piste for breakfast. Except for roosters, mostly quiet neighborhood. Could walk to town, but car is needed to visit beaches. Recommend jeep, not golf cart, especially for our favorite - Punta Soldata. There are beach towels, beach chairs, and coolers there for your use. We love Culebra and will return. Hope this place is available when we do. Thank you, Didi and Jaime."

"Loved the supplied breakfast foods. Outdoor shower was a unique experience. Very spacious, quiet. Enjoyed the sounds of nature at night with the open windows and screens. Pool was beautiful."
