"All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience."

"Had a lovely stay here - large, quiet room, firm but comfy bed, lovely bathroom facilities and a very good breakfast if no allergies. Gluten free toast provided on request but no other GF alternatives available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was quite a short one for length swimming, but still it was nice to have a dip! Lovely quiet area to stay in."

"Overall the stay was good. FOOD Food was nice, STAFF friendly enough staff although slow at responding and serving reception. FACILITIES The outside pool needs love as a lot of tiles missing leading to being uncomfortable if rubbed against or sat on. Area around pool appears unsafe but don't worry they have put black and yellow tape over the uneven decking so I guess all is good. Not!!! "It is a lovely hotel, very peaceful and quiet area. It could use a bit of redecoration in certain sites but it is clean enough and still very comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast is superb (I would say above average for the chain hotels) and this is one of the very few hotels where you can actually open the windows!
